About us

Your hosts

Jörg and Silvio are no native Berliners, but after living in the capital for more than 20 years they can have a say. They both work in the travel industry and have seen quite a bit of the world (Jörg has traveled to 70 countries!).
True to the motto "Why wander far, because the good is so close", their wish for more peace, more nature and more fruit jam became a reality in 2017: they moved into the small farm in Wahrenberg, initially as a weekend domicile.
Mrs. Mom and the cat "Digga" also moved in, later the Skuddenbucks Carlo and Max, as well as the chickens Amy, Emma, Hilde, Katy, Amanda, Elizabeth, Daphne and Josephine joined in.

Our little farm in the Altmark

The Hoyer-Farm

The farm with the number 36A is a "spin-off" of the Mummelthey farm. Probably built in the 18th century as a Lower Saxony longhouse, the building, which is now a listed building, was expanded to a 3-sided courtyard in the 19th century.
